Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Preparing planning and re-planning proposals and modifying the planning as per the issued instructions.
• Planning the urban utilities according to the residents' current and future needs.
• Studying the old areas in the cities of the emirate and tracking the effect of urban renewal projects on the fabric of the city.
• Checking the preliminary drawings of all types of buildings to make sure that all urban planning conditions (type of use, height, level, set-back, projection, colours, car-parks etc) are met.
• Inputting all the plans of the Emirate of Sharjah at all the regional, urban and local levels and the work plans as per the approved drawing scales in the computers in line with the latest technologies and programs besides updating these plans in accordance with the changes.
• Developing the regional plans of the Emirate of Sharjah.
