Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah will attend the opening ceremony of the 'Sharjah Cultural Days' in Vienna next week.

The event to bring together a large number of personalities in the field of culture and media from UAE and Austria is organized by the Sharjah Department of Culture and Information.

The Arab cultural fest comes in response to an invitation from Vienna. A European cultural month was organized at the Cultural Palace of the Arab cultural capital of Sharjah during April this year.

The 'Sharjah Cultural Days' is part of an effort to further inter-cultural understanding, exploring the historical development of the Arab-European cultural interaction across the centuries.

The Ruler have shed light the relations between Europe and Arabia in the books he has authored.
