The Transaction Centre of the Directorate of Town Planning and Survey has been set up according to the plan aimed at gaining the satisfaction of customers by providing them with a good and distinguished service that reflects a positive image of the directorate whereby the centre will be the front face of the service departments and sections and a connecting link between these departments and sections and customers..

Tasks & Resposibilities

1. Supervising work at all the counters of the directorate and branches.
2. Monitoring commitment and efficient performance.
3. Assessing the standard of performance at the customer service centres in the directorate and branches, determining the technical and human resources requirements and submitting regular reports in this connection.
4. Ensuring the provision of satisfactory telephone services to the customers.
5. Receiving the customers’ suggestions, complaints, statements and inquiries regarding the services related to the directorate and branches.
6. Listing all the services currently being provided at the Transaction Centre and expected to be provided in future and providing all the human, technical and spatial supplies for them.
7. Providing a support and follow-up system for all the transactions received by the Transaction Centre.
8. Providing a telephone calling service for inquiring about the procedures for obtaining the services of the Directorate of Town Planning and Survey as well as the customers’ suspended applications, required documents and the possibility of obtaining forms of the services by fax.
9. Making proposals and recommendations to ensure simplified procedures for all the directorate’s transactions, now that all transactions are completed under one roof.
   10. Listing the transactions and applicants and submitting regular reports in this connection.
